I just saw that COM is not blocked by default anymore. This may be it.
In prefs.rc.py, change it to the following:
blockCOM = true

If it is not the above, run Boa with the -T command line option.

This creates a log file (called Boa.trace) of every function that is 
entered and exited.

Please do not mail me the whole log file, only the last line.
