[Boa Constr] custom control

Hi all:
 
New to this list, new to Boa. Trying to create an app that does CAD, using the PythonOCC library. The library has it's own display class, used to display 3D objects, it handles mouse events for rotation, etc.
 
So what I wanted to do is turn the display class into a Boa custom control, so that I can visually manage the app like with any other widget. But the documentation on how to do this is not very extensive.
 
Any help out there?
