In a recent revamp of wx.lib.agw an "agwStyle" flag was introduced (see 
thread "AGW Revamped" in the middle of April of this year).

I can't figure out how to adapt the FlatNotebook.plug-in.py in 
Boa\Plug-ins to support this in the designer.

Appreciate any tips
