I have first configured bmp-itouch for my Ortek mck-800
with the grab interface button.

Once i have use the grab method, i can't have a prompt
to change the keybinfings in the preferences panel of
itouch
But it works if i open the pref panel and change the
keybindings first.

Secondly, Every time I try to activate the itouch
plugin, I got
------------
The program 'beep-media-player' received an X Window
System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private
resource denied)'.
(Details: serial 10 error_code 10 request_code 33
minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported
asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after
causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync
command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a
meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the
gdk_x_error() function.)

and bmp crash or exit ?

    Hi,

    Do you happen to be running GNOME? Do you use the "Keyboard Shourtcut"
    capplet in Desktop Preferences to grab and map your keys? If so, you might
    need to disable the keyboard shortcuts mapped by the "Keyboard Shortcut"
    capplet before using bmp-itouch.

    It crashed at my laptop too, and I fixed it by removing the overlapping parts.

    This makes me wonder: why is there no interface between BMP and the system->preferences->keyboard shortcuts?
