I didn't mean to sound too annoyed at your comments :) It might take you a while to learn where we're heading to (http://si-msn.port5.com/bmeMockup2.png may give you an idea) Any thoughts on what you want to do first? > P.S: I agree with the Be way of programming and that is good! We do not need the Windoze and > Linux crap ;). I disagree in the way that we have to mimic it a littlebit first. With that I > mean that we have to make sure that we have all the features that the windoze version has ;). > After that we can build extra nice features for BeOs users only :p Ah ok, I understand. We are kind of limited by the protocol for what features to support - but yes, we will support all the same features as msn in windows. I mean how we present those features to the user will be rethought. eg for user pics - the area of the top of the list will be used, as this represents how other contacts see you. If you drag a new jpg or whatever onto the user pic, a new window will pop up with the ability to adjust smoothing, resizing, croping options (maybe brightness and stuff too). So we will provide the same feature of user pics as in windows, but we will present it better to the user. That's the idea anyway :D Simon ________________________________ 15 Mbytes Free Web-based and POP3 Sign up now: http://www.gawab.com |
