I have already start to code the php, mysql will follow tonight or tomorrow morning i think. Cause i want it to be ok to see with NetPositive but not in crappy html (net+ do not support CSS :( ), i have decided to code it in xHtml / css. It's ok with Mozilla, Firefox, Safari (and also IE). On Net+, it will be like a none style website. The Xhtml is ok also CSS. Very fast and W3C validated :) Advices and reactions has already been changed to feedback ... seems like i wrote in your mind ;) For the download section, it's ok, i haven't worked on it yet so great :) Also about the traker view, i have just put it cause it was in my screenshot library (remember ... 2AM) but of course, it will be changed to a Bme window ! Cya for perhaps a RC online on monday if everything goes like it started. Regards, Remi ps: all filenames and comments in the code are in english, so you will all be able to first understand how it works and make changes if needed :) |

Hi Rémi, > I have already start to code the php, mysql will follow tonight or >tomorrow >morning i think. Very fast and W3C >validated :) > good to hear that, of course our main priorities are net+ and firefox/mozilla because they run on BeOS...but if you can produce a page that's displayed well on all browsers, that would have been great...does Xhtml need some special webservice to run it? like for example php? (I'm not familiar with it). If it does we have to look and see if the sourceforge webpage space supports it! >Advices and reactions has already been changed to feedback ... seems like i >wrote in your mind ;) For the download section, it's ok, i haven't worked >on it >yet so great :) > Yeah the page looked great, especially to that we have now :S (made by me) >Also about the traker view, i have just put it cause it was in my >screenshot >library (remember ... 2AM) but of course, it will be changed to a Bme >window ! > Maybe we should send you our new Bme version first...the group list look better in that ;) >Cya for perhaps a RC online on monday if everything goes like it started. > Would be very nice...Simon could you give Rémi access to our webpage space? so he can upload things as soon as they are working? >ps: all filenames and comments in the code are in english, so you will all >be >able to first understand how it works and make changes if needed :) > Great work! let's hope the page will be as good as Bme or the other way around :), regards, Tim _________________________________________________________________ Talk with your online friends with MSN Messenger http://messenger.msn.nl/ |

If it does we have to look and see if the > sourceforge > webpage space supports it! XHTML is just HTML reformatted as XML, IIRC - just a slightly different way of tagging things. Nothing different on the server side. > >Advices and reactions has already been changed to feedback ... seems > > like i > >wrote in your mind ;) For the download section, it's ok, i haven't > > worked > >on it > >yet so great :) > > > Yeah the page looked great, especially to that we have now :S (made > by me) Hehe, I quite like the current one, apart from the lack of news :) Btw, the lack of beer in the new site makes finding a new name a bit more of a priority :D > >Also about the traker view, i have just put it cause it was in my > >screenshot > >library (remember ... 2AM) but of course, it will be changed to a > > Bme > >window ! > > > Maybe we should send you our new Bme version first...the group list > look > better in that ;) Hehe, or just send a screenshot :) > >Cya for perhaps a RC online on monday if everything goes like it > > started. > > > Would be very nice...Simon could you give R=E9mi access to our webpage > space=3F > so he can upload things as soon as they are working=3F Yup - remi you'll need to tell me your sourceforge id (or sign up for one if you havent got one already). SF uses scp to transfer files to the webspace. > >ps: all filenames and comments in the code are in english, so you > > will all > >be > >able to first understand how it works and make changes if needed :) > > > Great work! let's hope the page will be as good as Bme or the other > way > around :), lol :D Simon ps: MYOB, haven't got round to testing CVS building yet - only just got back to my room, and about to leave again :D I've got a couple of hours before lectures tomorrow - it's on the list for then. pps: Remi, could you delete the rest of the digest stuff before sending a message=3F I always scroll through quite slowly in case you've made comments relating to other posts, but usually all your text is at the bottom. ppps: Think we may have a problem with MSN 7 - someone with the name "MSN 7 rocks" opened a window to me, then CPU hit 100% :( pppps: Maybe I should have structured this email a bit better so I didn't end up with 4 pppps-es! |
