Hi
I use Suse Linux 9.3. I had to patch the
kernel myself to get my onboard sound and
other things work.
Kernel is 2.6.11.4
I compiled the newest alsa version into
the kernel.
I can load the snd_bt_sco module without problems.
Bluetooth connections seems to be OK.
I used xmms to test the headset. Changing
volume on the headset itself changes volume
in xmms.
When a file is played I can hear some noises the headset is
active but I don't hear a real output.
Any idea whats wrong?

I'm experiencing the same problem with a centrino notebook
and a Jabra BT-200 headset. Opening and closing the
conneciton to the headset works fine but except to some
noisy sounds no audio is transmitted.
Is there any additional debug data I can provide to aid in
resolving the problem?

the bluetooth adapter on your computer is not a CSR adapter.
the linux driver can only do "sco" audio using a CSR adapter
that reports SCO routing: HCI
