I have used the "Internal Tomcat" version of this plug-in
for months with no trouble and like it.
However, recemtly I tried to use it with the "External
Tomcat" server and have run into a problem: when
Tomcat starts, the jasper complier throws an
exception:, specifically:
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile
class for JSP
An error occurred at line: -1 in the jsp file: null
Generated servlet error:
[javac] Compiling 1 source file
[javac] javac: invalid flag: C:\Documents
[javac] Usage: javac
Tomcat works fine stand alone, including being able to
compile jsp files.
I tried copying tools.jar over from my jdk to my jre lib
directory, but I still have the problem.
Any suggestions??
I have eclipse 2.1, the 2.0 version of webapp and 0.9
version of the External Tomcat plug-in.
