Hi Stuart, Glad you enjoyed "On the Sensations of Tone"! =3D) I'm also glad the the GBS version sounds like it is getting you closer to working. For blue's render to disk and play feature, it assumes Csound runs correctly and will output the wave file, and if it doesn't, blue will tell you it can't find the file, which is correct.=20 The problem now is to figure what is going on with Csound. If you run csound with the play button and it is crashing, there should at least be some messages from csound. You can view them by opening up the console window (F7 is the shortcut). You might also want to try outputing the project as a CSD file to disk (ctrl-shift-g is the shortcut, or it is in the project menu), and then running it on the commandline, i.e.: csound -d -o dac myProject.csd Doing that may give some better information as to what is going on.=20 You are also welcome to email me .blue projects that you have problems with and I can help you on list or off with that. Oh, also, for disk render commandline, you might want to try something like= : csound -Wdo myProject.wav Hope that helps! steven On 9/10/05, Stuart Felenstein <stu...@ya...> wrote: > Steven, >=20 > I appreciate your patience here.
