Hi Walter, I'm back now from the conference and things seem to be working okay here on OSX 10.11 and the version from github. It should be fine to delete the dev folder; if you're concerned, you can always just move it out of the way and restore it later. Another thing to try is to copy blue.app into a different folder (maybe your deskop) and try running it from there. I wonder if there is some odd thing happening by having it under /Applications.
