Dear list, I guess I'd like to give the sound object library another try now. Are there any "do"s and "dont"s, things I may do or definitely must avoid? I do remember having once nearly killed my whole project somehow when I deleted a SoundObject after having copied it to the library before. So may I... - delete sound-objects in the library, although there are instances of it in the timeline? Will all the instances then disappear aswell then? - may I alter instances of a sound object in the time-line although my parent-SoundObject in the library remains untouched? - Will changes of the Sound-Object in the library affect all instances of the SoundObject in the timeline? - is there any action I must definitively avoid to insure that the data of the project does not get corrupted? I am curious about the usage of SoundObject-Library but also a bit anxious :-) All the best, Jan Jacob sound | movement | object | space sonic architecture | site: http://www.sonicarchitecture.de spatial electronic composition | higher order ambisonic music |
