Hi Olivier, I see this is something I had not covered in the documentation. When a native library is used from Java, it needs to be either in the same directory as the jar or on a library path. If not, you can specify by modifying the commandline in blue.sh to have: -Djava.library.path=/path/to/where/_jcsnd.so/is/located Jim Hearon covers this near the end of his article in the Csound Journal: http://www.csounds.com/journal/issue9/JNBFrntEnd.html I'm not quite sure how you have csound installed or compiled on your system, but for example, if you had _jcsnd.so in /usr/local/lib/csound, you would add "-Djava.library.path=/usr/local/lib/csound". Please let us know if that works or not; I have written a note to add info on this in the manual! steven On Thu, Sep 11, 2008 at 4:00 AM, obaudouin <oli...@pe...> wrote: > > Hello! > > I try to start Blue with the Csound API under Linux, but it breaks and this > message appears: > > _jcsound native code library failed to load. > java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no _jcsound in java.library.path > > Csound5 seems to have been compiled correctly, producting the csnd.jar file. > > Any idea? > > -- > View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Blue-and-Csound-API-%28Linux%29%3A-no-_jcsound-in-java.library.path-tp19432403p19432403.html > Sent from the Csound - Blue - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > Bluemusic-users mailing list > Blu...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bluemusic-users > |
