Hi Atte, If you freeze a soundObject, basically runs the project with just that soundObject enabled and takes the wave and plays that in future renders. For effects, those will still run as they are tracked from the instrument and not the soundObject. It should take some off the CPU if there is a lot going on in the instrument code. If most of your heavy cpu work is in the effects then probably not as much difference.
