Ok, I found that you have to create an eGW contact and use this as your
customer or vendor. But the problem here is that there is nowhere near
enough information captured for either being a customer or a vendor.
Customers have addresses like: home office address, billing address,
shipping address, alternate shipping address, a national id number, and
of course lots of phone numbers. Vendors are very similar. They may have
multiple distribution addresses/locations and multiple contacts, and of
course they too have a national id number. The eGW contact database
would need to be expanded greatly in both contact types and in the
amount of data fields necessary to serve as a contact repository for
blueerp Customers and Vendors.

This is currently being looked at. The solution I have in mind is to create a second tab to customer/vendor which will allow the user to associate as many contacts are required with a given customer/vendor.

Then upon creation of invoices and other orders, you could choose who is the contact person, delivery address etc from the list.
