After a few months passed in testing I can finally release 0.3.0.

Most notable feature is the ability to launch custom scripts by pressing the function button at the front of the unit, which woult otherwise be useless. I've linked this to a backup script which copies everything I need on an external drive. See README in further info.

Support fan speed control on system temperature, taken from the S.M.A.R.T. hard disk drive information (requires package smartmontools).

Finally I was able to package things up and release blstools-0.1.0!
