[Blocks-development] Spam on the list

I posted a message which is "awaiting moderator approval" -- but I also
started getting a ton of spam once I turned on my old blocks@ email address
again.  I want to see if spammers are watching this list for email
addresses.

(The message is apparently awaiting moderator approval only because of its
length, so if it doesn't get released, maybe because the moderator is
absent, I'll post it again as three separate messages.)

I want to see if I start receiving spam on this newly-created email address
I'm posting from now.  If I do, I (and everyone else who dislikes spam) will
apparently need to start posting emails with spam-protected from and
reply-to addresses, with instructions in the message body on how to remove
the protection.
