But, better late than never.
Earlier version of blocking of map was released under GPL V2, which was not as liberal as LGPL.
Version 1.0 of blocking map is available now.
It is released under LGPL v3.
The idea is to allow developers to download, modify, distribute this source in any way that suits them.
But show some love by acknowledging the usage of this project in your product by specifying the same in some place.
