I have Bitswitcher software 0.3.8 and i want to use client mode and i have no function. My configuration is ADSL modem with DHCP and WPA2 secured. I want to use Bitswitcher as wi-fi client and connect with my distance placed media player via RJ-45 lan. I tryed to do many configuration and nothing :-( , please help me.

yes i need. i have one wi-fi router Edimax and i want to connect to this wi-fi router without wire. I want to use my spare Bitswitcher router to do this. But i tried a lot of configuration and without succes :-(

Sorry, your initial post implied the opposite. There is in fact no ADSL modem configuration in your bitswitcher.
Anyway, I have set up several WLAN clients like this, so it's definitely working.
Network settings / LAN
Hostname Bitswitcher
Get settings via DHCP Off
WAN, Firewall, DHCP, DNS all off
Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Off
MAC-Address cloning not Enable
IP-address 192.168.2.2
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway 192.168.2.1 if this is your Edimax IP-adress
DNS-Server 1 192.168.2.1
Your configuration is OK :-) THANK YOU , but WPA2 dont work. I have to change my EDIMAX on WPA, WEP or OPEN network. I think that WPA2 in client mode is bad or not implemented on Bitswitcher ?????

No, WPA2 works fine for me. Just try again. You must have the same settings in your Edimax Router as in your bitswitcher.

You don't need client mode for this. Just connect the RJ-45 LAN from your distance placed media player with the LAN socket of the router.

No, WPA2 works fine for me. Just try again. You must have the same settings in your Edimax Router as in your bitswitcher.
