The DD-Wrt describes not to setup two WLAN's with one device. Its about a wireless link between two connect two routers. This is possible with Bitswitcher depending on your needs, you can use WDS to repeat an existing WLAN or you can connect two cable networks via AP-Client connection in Bridge mode.

WDS is not an option. I prefer the safer way of WPA2-PSK. I would like to use the W500V as an repeater.

Ich würde den Speedport gerne als Repeater einsetzen.
Der Speedport sendet sein eigenes WLAN aus UND verbindet sich zusätzlich mit einem WLAN eines anderen Routers.

Thats not possible with W500V. Only some WLAN-drivers can act as AP and client at the same time and this one can't do that….
