Hi everybody.
I use my Targa WR500VoIP with Bitswitcher 0.3.5 firmware in Italy connected directly to ADSL line. Actually i flashed it hoping that it will work as a VoIP adapter. But no success. I configured Voip settings, allowed UDP 5060 in a firewall to a router IP (192.168.2.1). Voip monitor in web panel of the firmware tells me-connection established. But I can not call via Voip. Even the Led on the router corresponding to the Voip calls does not light. As a additional information I can tell, that normal PSTN calls can be executed and received just if in the voip settings is Germany selected. If I select Italy-the calls can be performed, but can not be received(there is no ringing of the phone, even if the Festnetz Led is lighting in both cases). So my supposition is that the phone part of the firmware has still some bugs. Does anyone have some ideas?
P.S: You can write an answer in German too. It was just easier for me to express my minds in English, but I understand very well written German.

Same thing exists also with Annex B in Germany. I cant establish a SIP connection with Arcor/Vodafone network. Think the (closed?) firmware-modul depending SIP in our w500V doesnt support latest SIP standards which are more and more used by VOIP providers. (i.e. Asteriks server)

I'm not so shure that this is a provider problem. I tried different providers but no success. My greatest suspect that there is some incompatibility of the voip part of the firmware. Otherwise I can not explain why the Led corresponding to the Internet calls does not work in all situations. And also the indication of the connection to the voip server in the web interface of the bitswitcher is sometimes established, but sometimes not. without changing nothing... Does anyone succeed in calling via VoiP? Could you share please your experience about providers which work?

Hello
i'm trying to use a T-Com speedport W500V en France. OVH is my ISP for ADSL and VOIP.
ADSL works well, but I have deep problems with VOIP.
The french story is here : La croisade du modem T-Com speedport W500V
- I'm unable to dial a number. I just get the "A" tone if the SIP domain is left empty, and nothing if the domain is correctly filled
- I can receive a call (with domain filled), altough the phone number of the caller is not displayed.
Here is the syslog of the modem while I'm trying to make a call :
Try to select Country - Germany. Without that selected I was not able to call. And the firmware has to be higher than 0.3.7. As well as firmware based on Targa files had problems with voip. Try to flash latest version of the firmware based on Telekom. Do not forget about country field to be set to Germany (even if you are in France).

@germed : thank you for your response. Firmware is
version 0.39 / Driver Telekom / without VPN /without Radius / Dsn Annex B / Voip / without IPV6.
I can not test VOIP anymore at this time because I just changed my isp (OVH-> Free ) . this ISP is using IPOA and not PPP ( problem is described here ) and I have to solve this problem first.
