#21 ESSID field escapes exclaimation marks

When entering an ESSID with an exclaimation mark (!), it turns into \x21 or similar after saving.

    I have exactly the same problem with the WLAN-Passphrases:
    ()!?#+1234ABCdef changes to: \x28\x29\x21\x3F\x23\x2B1234ABCdef
