Admittedly, I do not understand Spanish well. I can get a few pieces of it, here and
there.

I used the on line machine translation link mentioned to me previously and
could understand from the rough translation it gave. I'll continue to do that in
future for Spanish messages. I think we will be able to understand each other
in this way and I can always learn a little Spanish too.

There's a sourceforge project called TransJ (http://sf.net/projects/transj) that 
presents a Java GUI for translating on line. It uses AltaVista/Babelfish to translate. 
You might want to try that.

Okay, I get that point. If there is real concern about possible problems caused
by working in parallel on the same branch, then it may indeed be a better idea
to have a separate branch for the new aligner version. After that is functional we 
can break the experimental and aligner versions apart and reformulate an improved
version to eventually be moved into the trunk.

It's good to have as much presented in a multilingual fashion for an application 
that is intended for multilingual use. It just makes sense and is considerate.
