Bioinfo-C is integrated free (LGPL) object based C code to efficiently develop bioinformatics applications.

At this time (June 2013) the target audience are framework developers. Expansion to application developers and biologists is planned.

In April 2017 the key developer passed away. For the time being, BIOINFO-C is dormant. In case of questions, you are welcome to contact wolfd.
