Thanks Khurram > Dear All,I was able to successfully install the latest version of > BikaLims. But, when I try to install it with BikaHealth (bika.health > 3.1.8) I get following error: Requirement of bika.health: bika.lims<3.2 That is correct. Bika Health is not compatible with the new LIMS 3.2 yet. There is now a big amount of code by Jordi and team at Naralabs <https://naralabs.com/> from the Liberia and Zimbabwe projects waiting to be merged when completed. A bit of a fork developed and I'll be punting that the functions for regional public LIS be kept optional so as to keep it feasible for all the many small commercial pathology labs we have in emerging economies where skills transfer and entrepreneurship are used to address health care testing. > Probably, the new version of BikaHealth will support bikaLims 3.2! If > so, when is new version of BikaHealth expected? Jordi could you do us a roadmap please, ball park? Mind Bika LIMS is still in Beta... user testing are revealing hidden bugs and niggles we want to iron out as LIMS 3.2 will be the base of Bika 4 for which the front end will be migrated to ExtJS through further Bika 3.x roll-outs. It'll utilise Ramon (Riding Bytes <http://www.ridingbytes.com/>)'s JSON API 2, nearing a final release, for which he has started coding already. Tests show vast performance improvements, in addition to that achieved by Jordi, and the Ext JS framework will save us from the Babylon of different styles JS, Ajax, Python currently making code maintenance difficult. The LIMS business rules stay in Plone/Zope, potentially with the addition of back-end SQL option, and therefore 3.2 needs to be as good as possible. Coders, please assist! Pick an item to fix from https://github.com/bikalabs/bika.lims/issues, some are real easy. Bika student coders, these are all easy entry points and you'll be supervised by Bika aces, don't miss the opportunity! https://jira.bikalabs.com/issues/?filter=11012 We'll also be exposing LIMS 3.2 to a full ISO 17025 2015 audit at the end July which should confirm the systems 'compliance' in 3.2 clothing. And set 3.3, 3.4. ..., 4.0 up! Bests l LIMS Health |
