We are 85% there and list the peripheral items still under construction 
and to do on the LIMS 3 demo front page <http://bika3.bikalabs.com/>. 
Core functionality works very well, is neat & nippy with many clicks & 
page loads saved through using Ajax & Java script. Find lyrical waxing

We had valuable feedback from testers from the lists taking a look, but 
before going 'production' we'll require much more. Maybe we get to grips 
with Open Source adage 'If you're not embarrassed when you ship your 
first version you waited too long' before then...-). Also, in memory of 
Steve Jobs: 'Usage is oxygen for ideas'.

The demo still goes under SVN  alpha numbering convention 3.0a1.dev3358 
which will change when we migrate the first Git version across from the 
dev server.
