You are right. Probably this has happened accidentally, at least I 
cannot thing of one single reason why one would like to have logical
operators having priority over comparisons.

Thanks, indeed I still have them :-))

The developer manual is going to become a part of the main manual.
Probably I'll only add the missing chapters then.
