A list of reference material is good to keep around. Any material that may be freely copied should probably be put in Bibkeeper CVS for safety and ease of reference.

A new Java bibliography manager that seems to be similar in concept to this project (not open source, I believe, and it requires Java 1.4): http://liinwww.ira.uka.de/bibliography/Bib.Format.html
