#727 bst files genrate errors in preview

Since I've install the two last bibdesk update, my preview (and, of course, citation) do not work anymore with bst files other that 'build-in' one (apalike).

Here's a log. What can I do?!?!?

Does this continue to work on your system outside BibDesk (use the same citation)? If not, try to get it working there first. If it does, it'll help if you could attach the citation and the bst for devs to reproduce the error.

I'm using Bibdesk with a wordprocessor, and normally I copy citation in bibdesk and paste it in my document, which genarate an entry in the selected style. Now, all I got is a \cite{MyCiteKey}

Here is one of the bst files...

Can I find somewhere a version prior to BibDesk-1.2.10.dmg to wait until the bug is fixed?

Sure you can find earlier versions of BibDesk to try, just click the "Download BibDesk' link on the sf homepage: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=61487 1.2.10 is there and there's a link to all previous versions. If it does work with the earlier versions let us know.

Note that this is not a bug in BibDesk, but is a result of TeX errors due to invalid entries. What you should do is fix the items.

We used to ignore some of these errors, which gave the erraneous impression that the items were correct. But that doesn't mean that there are no errors. We now give the full error log so you can detect what is wrong and correct it. In this case, there are some missing $-s, and text font commands are used in math environments.

Quite frankly, I think it was a bug that we didn't tell you about errors that are there, because you'd copy output that is wrong without knowing it.

In the current nightly we warn about these errors in a more subtle way, if you find the log too daunting.
