Cannot open normal files after opening an invalid file

After trying to open a file that contains errors, BibDesk version 1.9.13 (6123) is unable to open any other files until it is restarted.

To reproduce:

Visit https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00140139.2015.1081988 and click "Cite this article"
In the popup, choose BibTex, then click "Download citations"
Open the resulting file with BibDesk: the Errors window appears, showing a syntax error
Try opening any other .bib file: nothing happens until BibDesk is restarted

(I have not investigated whether this just happens with this particular example, or with every file containing errors.)
