Do you just add a default, empty web group (with the default home page)?
Does this also happens when you add one in a new empty document?
Unfortunately I don't see anything usefull in the samples, it just waits some time for the web view to load, it seems. I alos don't see anything problematic myself.
Do you have any web plugins installed?

I'm still on Mojave. BibDesk 1.7.3.
The other user reprted it having regressed. I just downloaded 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 and indeed, 1.7.1 works totally fine, but 1.7.2 gives the problem. Weird.

This is really weird. I just went over evry single change between the two versions, and the only one that was related to web groups was a fix in the arxiv web scraper, which cannot explain this.

I'm new to this. Apologies for my email describing my pb with 1.7.3 as a crash. It hangs for about 55 secs when I click on Web, and then another 55secs or so when I click on Google or JSTOR. I attach the sample I collected as per instructions about 13 min ago. Let me know if you need other info from me. --gildas

And are you sure this regressed in 1.7.2? I can't figure out any relevant change between 1.7.1 and 1.7.2.

other group categories?
