#25 hang when starting pcmcia services

Hi there,

This looks like a cook distro. When starting the pcmcia
services on my nec s260 laptop, it hangs with capslock
and scrollock flashing. It does not matter if there is a
pcmcia card in there or not.

specs:
ATI Mobility Radeon M6C-8 8 MB AGP Video Controller,
AGPx4
AD-1886 Audio Codec
VIA 694T/686B chipset
North-Bridge: VIA VT82C694T
South-Bridge: VTA VT82C686B
CPU Intel PIII-M CPU
Intel PIII-M CPU 1.2 GHz features.
Modem Askey Lucent Scorpio modem
Netwerk On board Intel 82551 QM Network Controller

Any ideas on how to overcome this?

I have a Dell D600 and I get the same results when starting
the Pcmcia functionality from within FIRE. Renders the Pcmcia
slots useless.

someone ACK it? Or will this issue not be fixed at all?
