Yes, benchmarksql did work with MySQL in the past. It listed MySQL as
supported until
version 4, but I never actually tested that combination.
There have been substantial code and schema changes in version 5. I have
tested all of
them against Firebird, Oracle and PostgreSQL. Since nobody tested any of
that against
MySQL, we decided to no longer list it as officially supported. It may
still work, but we
honestly don't know.
You can try and see if it works. Most problematic in the changes might be
the foreign key
constraints. The TPC-C specification mandates them, so they were added and
need to be
enforced by the database, so InnoDB must be used for benchmarksql 5 in
order to be a
fair comparison.
i wish benchmarksql support mysql , the mysql belongs oracle now .. it's support oracle but not mysql, i just feel not been in a system enviroment.lol
