Sorry, I went and posted this at BeBits rather than here where
I should've.
Is there any way for BeMail to look for People files on other
disks than /boot? I tried putting a link in ~/ but it had no
effect.
I'd like to keep my People files somewhere other than ~/
because apps tend to make a mess of ~/ that I'm too lazy to
clean up, but I'd still like to have
a nice, clean and controlled backup...
Also, with the above setup, I just noticed that dragging
People files onto BeMail's To: field crashes it:
Actually, at first attempt to put it back to a non-working
state, it seems okay. But so it did last time. Let me go

Hmph. Can't get it to crash now. It definitely crashed twice
trying to drag a People file onto BeMail, and then once more after I
moved everything back to the default setup just when I went "Create
New Message" on the tray menu.
