#987 Desktop Sharing Lag

Hi Marco, hope you are doing well. There is lag while sharing a desktop screen. Below is the system details.

BeeBEEP version : 5.8.6
Windows version : Windows 10 pro 1903

Please guide me to fix this.

Hi. There are some options that you can change to optimize desktop sharing in the network.
Go to "Settings" - "Desktop Sharing."
First of all, change the image type to Jpeg.
Then you can use the image quality from 10 to 100 (Jpeg quality). If you use 10, the image sent is smaller in size than 100, but the quality is not very good.
You can also change "select screen capture interval" and put it to 5000, for example. An image will be sent every 5000 ms. If you want a better frame rate, you can change this value to 1000 (every second). Perhaps the delay you notice is due to the frame rate and not the bandwidth.

Hi Marco, thank you for your help. We did the test and we can see an improvement on the image quality. But however, while sharing a video, there is an delay. May i request your help to get it solved.
