What an awesome messenger.
I used to think the only thing wrong with it was it used to steal my cursor focus when a new message came in. At times, it would drive me nuts to be typing away on something only to realize half way through my cursor jumped to beebeep and I would have to cut and paste it back or if I had already pressed enter, the other person would ask me why I sent them a strange message. Anyway, I have upgraded Linux mint 21.1 Cinnamon and BeeBeep to 5.8.6-1555-p95-qt5-64bit for Linux and now when I get a new message, it just flashes the icon in the system tray, it does not raise the incoming chat window to the top, so I end up missing the vert important messages due to not noticing the flashing little bee in the system tray. I do have the raise previously open chat on new message checked, as well as always open chat on new message checked.
To sum up, when I get a new message, it will not raise to top (like it used to), whether I close the message previously, or I just let it go to the background behind what ever current window I am working in. How do I make it always raise to the top and gain focus on a new message? In my situation, a new BeeBeep message is way more important than what I might be currrently working on.

Hello, I'm sorry for the late answer.
I don't have Mint Cinnamon 21.1 installed so I cannot make the tests...
It seems that something changed in the Window Management... I'm looking for the same problem in Qt forums to see how fix it...
Yes, I do have both of the checked "Settings - Notifications - Raise chat on new message and Always open chat on new message. This used to work on the older Linux Mint 19 and 20 versions. I only noticed the problem when I reinstalled the latest version on all our pc's and then we notice the problem.
Has there been any progress made on this issue?
