Hi, I am using version 5.8.4 on 5 PC. On 2 of them beebeep works properly after hibernation, but on 3 of them beebeep lose connection after wake from hibernation and is not able to reconnect. Then when I clic on close beebeep desktop icon instead of minimise to icon like always it closes.
I noted that this problem was solved in the past but still happen to me.
Al Pcs are windows 10 last version. All of them share the same beebeep.rc file that I have attached.
In the attachment I have put my beebeep.rc and a .rtf with all the relevant settings screenshot with the log as well.
Judging from the log seems that Beebeep is checking the ethernet card to early after waking up from hibernation.

Hi!! Thank you very much! I'm going to make some test to fix it.
Thank you, your program has been very helpful during epidemic.
I've been using BeeBEEP for several years and recently added it to my kids' computers. On one of them, BeeBEEP stays offline after waking the computer. If I restart BB manually, it connects.
(As an aside... I've been loving BeeBEEP but now that we have more users, it would be nice if the chat window had actual tabs, one for each open chat.)
BeeBEEP version 5.8.4
Hi Drew!
I'm working on it... "broadcast" is sleeping too... you can click on the "broadcast button" instead of closing BeeBEEP.
Thank you for the log!

I'm not sure what the broadcast button is... there's one that looks a bit like a radio tower broadcasting, with tooltip "Search for users", but that button is grayed out when not connected. The other buttons don't seem like they would have much to do with the network. I tried a few different settings in the BeeBeep's network configuration but none of that seemed to help.
Yes it is. The one with tooltip "Search for users".
Ah, I understand... now. Before I understood that BeeBEEP is connected but users are offline.
Ok. BeeBEEP wakes up from hibernation before ethernet or wifi card and then it does not check again when network card become available to the system.
Thank you!
Same issue here on workgroup computers.

Thank you! I fixed it. It will be available with the new version as soon as possible (just 1 or 2 weeks).
Hi, it seems I'm having the same issue here with the latest version 5.8.4 on a Mac.
BeeBeep used to reconnect properly in an older version (not sure which), but since I've updated, it never reconnects after I wake up my Mac from sleep.
Yes, thank you for your feedback, I delayed the new version, with this bug fixed, to test better other features.
Ciao Marco, is there anything I can do to help you speed up the new version with this issue fixed? It's really annoying, as I often forget to restart BeeBeep, and then I seem to be offline all the time. I'd be very grateful to see a fix soon.
I don't know when I can release a new stable version, but I can create a beta version with this problem fixed for Mac as soon as possible, so you can test it.
That would be much appreciated!
New beta version released also for MacOSX.

I've downloaded and installed the dev version in order to test if it fixes the issues here.
It seemed to be better, but today, I've got the same problem again. According to the log, it looks to me like Beebeep can't find the network after wakeup, then retries, but after only 2 seconds and only once, then gives up?
I think it should keep on trying for longer (actually forever).
P.S.: I'm on a Mac.

Yes, but... I don't see the log message of "Network interface found"... BeeBEEP tries to connect and if it fails, waits for Operating System signal of network ready.
Maybe this signal is not always sent by OS.
I will make more tests... thank you!
PS: every 13 seconds BeeBEEP checks network... I don't know why it stops after 2 seconds...

Update:
I've noticed that, once BeeBEEP hasn't been able to find the network interface, on following wakeups, it doesn't seem to do anything at all any more:
Thank you very much. This is very useful.
New beta version is available also for MacOSX: https://www.beebeep.net/help#dev-version
Have tested it for 5 days now in different network environments (local and over VPN), and it looks like it works perfectly now!
Thank you very much Metin!
When I enter the application in version 5.8.4, everyone appears offline
Hello! This often happens because your firewall settings blocks incoming connections.
