Hi Marco,
Is it possible to prompt for userid only when nickname is empty but do not prompt for change of nickname when nickname has been set before. I notice user do not change their nickname after first setup.

Hi!!
There is an option in beebeep.rc file to disable prompt in first connection:
UseEasyConnection=true
See beebeep_example.rc and BEEBEEP_HELP.txt for more information.
Note: In the 4.0.0 that dialog is used to "change user" ... it is not a simply "change nickname" as before... So it is useful the first time...

I also did notice the prompt popup for username input occur. I have a stable network connection but unsure why did it prompt again and again to ask for username just as if i have just startup bee
Please check your settings.... "Settings" - "On Connection" and remove the check on "Prompts to change user"...
