#1154 bad bug, rendering it unusable.

I tried copying a code block in chat to another machine, and it keep corrupting the text.

From MacOS Sequoia, to Ubuntu 26

for example, the end of my block looks like this:

# 4. SOURCE
[ -f "$TARGET" ] && source "$TARGET"


and I get this:

# 4. SOURCE
 uot;$TARGET" && source "$TARGET"


and


# 4. SOURCE
-f"$TARGET" && source "$TARGET"
