Picking up where Steve Watsky left off, BEATRIX 2014R is a very lightweight Linux distribution that attempts to showcase Linux as an operating system to new users, and to provide a base installation that could be expanded.

Two versions are in development:

A re-engineered version of Debian, with non-essential packages removed.

BEATRIX 2014 R2

More of an independent distro, built from the ground up, and mainly compiled from source.
