Info: This ticket is derived from a Wiki comment by D. Demmer.

I recently installed ImageJ and the plugins WebcamCapture and your Beamprofiler 1.4.1 on two computers. I used it to do live fits to the image from a USB camera and it works flawlessly. Thank you and the other programmers for this extremely useful software combination.

Anyway, there's one weird thing. On one computer (Win11) the live fit profile windows have a heavy blue line showing the fit -- very useful. On the other (Win10) this is missing. They otherwise behave identically. I'm sure the configuration is the same because I simply copied the entire ImageJ directory from one to the other.

Does this happen because of differences in the JVM between Win10 and Win11? Or is there something I'm missing?

This is more of a "this bugs me" than an actual problem, so feel free to ignore this unless it bugs you, too :-)

    Dear David @drmdemmer,
    thank you for reporting this.

Normally, the missing blue line means that the fit has failed. Does the profile window show reasonable results of the fit (w, 2w, etc.) in its header just above the graph?

    Best
    Wenjamin

You are correct. The fault was in the test image I was providing -- in this case a webcam view of my office.
