Pro Broadcast Tools is pleased to announce the start of public development of the planned software suite. By providing Open Source Software to broadcasters and producers, Pro Broadcast Tools hopes to support diversity in the media. An initial web site has been created at http://bcasttools.sourceforge.net/

Design has begun on the RackPlanner equipment rack elevation design and planning tool. RackPlanner is aimed at the facility engineer who needs to quickly calculate electrical and heat loads from predefined equipment specifications.
