I just dropped my standard bastille-firewall scripts on a clean RHAT 7.1 box and only allowed "ftp" -- everything works as expected. Both active and passive FTP dat xfer work fine. Are you sure you don't have something on the client box, or in between the client and server that's blocking the data channel? -Peter |
