and mkkickstart (check it out, very handy). One major problem (I think it
still exists) in kickstart is that while you can specify partitions/etc you
cannot specify the exact layout. So for example on large disks you may end
up with / or /boot being outside the 1024 cylinders, which can be annoying
to say the least =). The great thing about kickstart (IMHO) is that you can
put the config files on the server and centrally manage everything, and have
the same floppy for 100 different machines.
