Yeap, finaly after a lot of waiting the new version is here. Many things are changed, almost complete rewrite of code. Lots of new features and improvements. BASTED v0.2 now requires MySQL 4.1.

BASTED is under heavy reconstruction. New features and code improvements/cleanup is on the way.

Got rid of all the perl requirements. Since the basic requirement is PHP all tools turned into PHP.

Some of the new features/changes:
* postfix mysql direct alias management.
This means no catch all alias any more required.
* Traps categorizations (Active, Spammed, Inactive)
* Simpler mbox management.
* Report Tracking
* Tracking of communications
* Abuse management.
* Modified Net_Whois (supports port numbers for whois. A patch has been sent to the original author no reply as of today).
* Code cleanup. Lots of code cleanups.
* Improved Queries. (Requires MySQL >=4)
* Simpler intergration into current systems. (Insert basted on phpBB for example)... read more
