After unsuccessfully trying to contact Thomas, I decided to try here.
I'm using bashish DR7.3, and I'm having a couple of problems. First, I'm not getting the special characters in themes such as 'mandrake' and
'combo'. I have a feeling that my fonts aren't set up right, but after playing with it for a while, I can't seem to figure out how to make it
work. The problem exists in both console and X/A/W/Eterms. I examined the FAQ, but can't find the answer. Suggestions?
Also, is it possible to make the default xterm/eterm/wterm/etc size
something other than 80x40? I really do prefer the normal size of 80x25 Xterms.
Regards
Tony
PS. I can provide screenshots of my xterm if anyone wants them.

oh well... two yers late =)
the font problems were unfinished themes, I've put some nice ascii fonts on the elite'ish themes in this latest DR7.9 release...
Second to change the normal size you may modify the ~/.bashish/bt/default/theme
and change the SIZE_X and SIZE_Y values to whatever you'd like
cheers
