Greetings. I have been using BARD, and am able to do some very basic steps with my own data (as opposed to the sample shapefiles). By trade, I am a geographer who would like to use the software for a portion of my dissertation. I'd like to create thousands of district designs (see Cirincione) and compare a test statistic from my original design to the sample of designs. Does anyone have advice for writing my own scoring functions. I am not interested in contiguity scores, equal pop. scores, etc. Rather, I'd like to create district designs, call up attributes, and do some simple arithmetic with those attributes. Anyone out there????
