Not by me. With the number of users I would think someone would have
reported if there were one. Barcode4J doesn't do any caching (yet) or
stuff like that so the risk for a memory leak is very low.

No. Do you know projects which do that? And what would that report
contain?

Why don't you just give Barcode4J a try? It's easy to integrate.
