This is the first release of this user-configurable lightweight buttonbar, which is intended for use with simple Linux GUIs based on a window manager.
It uses the gtk2 widget set, so in theory it could also be used in gnome as an alternative to desktop icons.
The content and effect of the buttons is entirely determined by your configuration file, and several files can be used to provide different bars for simultaneous display.
