problems with gtk apps and Kubuntu Dapper
Brought to you by:

Upgraded from Kubuntu 5.10 to 6.06 (Dapper) and Baghira
package 0.7a-1built2.
When I use a gtk application (Firefox or Bluefish) and
I open for ex. the "Open file ..." dialogue in Firefox,
Firefox does not respond anymore. XOrg and Firefox make
up for 100% system load. Bluefish starts but crashes
immediately.
Started Firefox and Buefish from a shell and I got the
following error message: Gdk-WARNING **:
gdk_window_set_back_pixmap(): pixmap must have a colormap
When I use KDE2 window decoration, no problems.

Second the above.
This system was originally Kubuntu 5.10(breezy). All worked
fine - X.org, Firefox, and Baghira. Then I upgraded to
6.06(dapper).
Firefox is extremely unstable while using Baghira. X11
records thousands of the following message in
.xsession-errors. Generating the message is as easy as
scrolling the document up or down:
> (Gecko:6297): Gdk-WARNING **:
gdk_window_set_back_pixmap(): pixmap must have a colormap <
FF eventually segfaults, reporting:
> /opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 19882 Segmentation
fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"} <
I really love the theme, and would love to go back to using
it. Thanks!
