Hello Luis, Yes, there are two other ways. The first and most=20 automatic is if you know exactly how many jobs you will run each day, you simply set your Pool resource to have: Maximum Volume Jobs =3D nnn where nnn is the number of jobs you run each day. Please note that this number is pulled from the Pool when the Volume is created, so for existing volumes, you will need to modify MaxVolJobs manually with update volume=3Dxxx in the Console. The second way to do this, and possibly more flexible is to run a special "admin" job after all your normal backup jobs have run (perhaps even the job that backs up your database). In this job, you could use: RunAfterJob =3D "some-shell-script" and "some-shell-script" would look like the following: #!/bin/sh path/console -c path/console.conf <<END_OF_DATA update volume=3Dxxx ... END_OF_DATA where you would replace ... by the appropriate commands to modify the VolStatus to be Full or Used. The problem with this particular scheme is that you must somehow find the volume name currently being used -- not always so easy. Best regards, Kern PS: By the way, with version 1.31 (current CVS) you don't need to figure out all the commands (numbers, ...) to enter to update the volume, you simply say: update volume=3Dxxx volstatus=3DFull =20 On Mon, 2003-07-07 at 11:12, alois blasbichler wrote: > hello list > i have a question : >=20 > i run several jobs every day for backup on the same tape. > after that i want to mark a tape as full for automaticaly recycling after= a=20 > week. > i dont can use "Use Volume Once =3D yes", because i run more jobs >=20 > is there another way to mark a tape as full? >=20 > thank you luis >=20 >=20 >=20 > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including > Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now. > Download today and enter to win an XBOX or Visual Studio .NET. > http://aspnet.click-url.com/go/psa00100006ave/direct;at.asp_061203_01/01 > _______________________________________________ > Bacula-users mailing list > Bac...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users |
